Veolia Environmental Services Marine Services (VES) deploys both inspection and work-class ROVs in support of its offshore and inland marine construction, repair and inspection work. Our ROV inventory will soon be expanded by the addition of the first two new model, 13,120-foot-rated, Tritons from Perry Slingsby. These two new Tritons will be in service as part of our ROV fleet in early 2007.
The addition of these brand new Tritons enables our marine construction professionals to continue to meet deepwater and inland shallows needs of our existing and prospective marine customers safely, quickly and efficiently. Here is a description of the ROVs we can devote to your marine construction project.
Work-Class ROVs
- Two new Work-Class Triton ROVs: These new Tritons are rated to 13,120 feet (4,000 meters) and include proven technologies incorporated into the latest XLS series ROVs.
- Triton XLS-26 Work-Class ROV: The XLS-26 is already deployed in support of multiple gas and oil customers in the Gulf of Mexico. A true workhorse, the Triton XLS-26 is rated to 9,800 feet (3,000 meters).
- Triton XLS-17 Work-Class ROV: Featuring a heavy-lift TMS, this vehicle is rated to 9,800 feet (3,000 meters). On board the Vigilant in the Gulf of Mexico, the Triton XLS-17 supports multiple gas and oil customers.
- Triton XL-25 Work-Class ROV: This vehicle is designed to meet the most challenging heavy work encountered in the offshore marine environment. Rated to 8,200 feet (2,500 meters), the XL-25 features field-proven technology to get the job done.
- Triton XL-05 Work-Class ROV: Designed to perform a variety of tasks, including survey work and construction, in the deep sea, this vehicle has a depth of 8,200 feet (2,500 meters). The XL-05 is maneuvered in three dimensions by six thrusters and is equipped with cameras for still photos and video.
Inspection-Class ROVs
VES offers two Inspection-Class ROVs capable of meeting your inspection needs - The Seaeye Tiger is regarded as the standard observation and inspection ROV for operations of 3,280 feet (1,000 meters). Easily deployable from support vehicles or platforms, it can also be used in a free-swimming mode.
- The Phantom HD2 is a dependable ROV for inspection and light work tasks. With a depth rating of 1,000 feet (300 meters), the free-flying system is highly mobile and accommodates cameras, sonar, tracking, manipulators and custom tooling.
