Veolia Environmental Services has designed industry leading containment systems to meet regulatory guidelines and to protect fragile environments. These containment systems have been used for a wide variety of applications, including the environmentally sensitive five-year Peace Bridge project in Niagara, between downtown Buffalo, New York and Fort Erie, Ontario. Veolia was also contracted to provide an environmentally sound solution to remove old, lead based paint and recoat the Quebec Bridge. At 3,239 feet long, the Quebec Bridge is the longest spanned cantilever steel railway bridge in the world and a historical landmark in the region. Beyond environmental protection, we extensively train our personnel to ensure their safety and the safety of others exposed to the work environment.
