Veolia Environmental Services – Industrial Services (VES-IS) recognizes that plant operators need to take their Decontamination / Degassing programs to the next level of excellence. No longer can owners steam units until clear or rely upon “one size fits all” solutions; owners now require an approach that is tailored to each individual process unit to insure optimization of time, resources and utilities. VES-IS is prepared to offer this approach. By utilizing VES-IS, plant owners can be assured of receiving this next level of excellence.

VES-IS is not tied to a one size fits all approach to your process unit. We utilize chemistries from several sources to provide the best solution within the parameters of enhanced safety, minimized waste disposal volume, time minimization and having process units ready for maintenance and inspection. Our chemistries can be applied with steam to be used in the vapor phase, can be used in traditional cascade application, and can be incorporated into foam for areas with tortuous channels such as reciprocating compressors or in areas not designed for increased temperatures or weight load.

A step beyond the competition

VES-IS professionals know your process which allows us to develop an engineered approach to satisfy your requirements. We know the foulants likely to be encountered and what process has worked best historically in this service. Our treatments are designed to reduce the LELs and pyrophorics and once down, they stay down; plant owners do not need to re-blind and re-steam units. Traditional approaches have left process units ready for cleaning, VES-IS' approach is to have the units ready for maintenance or inspection. We test all our solutions so we do not spend too much or too little time or chemistry. Circuits are designed around the resources available during the outage, we won't come to you in the middle of the treatment and ask for resources you may not have or are already committed. Proper planning insures a safe and environmentally friendly treatment

VES-IS is a global industrial service company that has decades of experience in industry. We have successfully decontaminated and degassed processes ranging from vacuum towers to FCCU fractionators to HF Alkylation Units to cokers and olefin plants. We have the experience to insure our clients we are not learning on their process and will get it right the first time. We operate efficiently and effectively to produce a quality product; we do not tie up your valuable manpower and other resources during a critical time.

We offer most services from almost all of our locations so you are dealing with local personnel. While we do have specialized project managers and supervision, the majority of our crews will be from your area. Having the extra personnel and equipment in our other offices insures we can perform any size treatment and adds flexibility to handle last minute scope changes.
