Manhole Rehabilitation

The majority of sanitary sewer manholes and wet wells are constructed with brick and/or concrete. The adverse conditions found in sanitary sewer systems attack the mortar that holds the bricks in place or the concrete structure as a whole. This can lower the structural strength, possibly leading to the structure’s failure and/or providing a source of ground water infiltration into the sewer system.

Veolia Environmental Services can apply various types of coating systems to reinstate structural integrity and to resist future damage. Options include an inexpensive waterproofing, a cementitious mortar lining, or an epoxy top coat. All these systems are designed to extend the life of existing structures or to protect new wet well and manhole installations.
