A rapidly expanding division of a multi-disciplined marine, emergency response, government services, fabrication and construction contractor is currently seeking a Buyer for the Neenah, WI, area.  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:  Receive, analyze, and timely process requisitions from vessels, shops, and office personnel; solicit quotations from existing and potential vendors; negotiate best value with vendors and make sourcing recommendations; make appropriate sourcing decisions within established guidelines; review, develop and structure purchase orders according to established guidelines; resolve disputes and discrepancies with vendors related to price, delivery, and terms; make recommendations for vendor database; meet with vendors to discuss issues of mutual interest; interface with bidding and estimating functions.  May require degree in business or related area; 5 years experience in purchasing.  Proficiency in computer software programs a must.
